This is a metal-bodied rotary counter unit. A row of engraved wheels sits across the front, each marked around its circumference with the digits 0 through 9, showing the current figure through the face. A plunger extends from the top of the body, and a toothed gear on the side engages the internal mechanism. When the mechanism is actuated, the wheels turn in sequence, each one carrying the step to the wheel beside it as it completes its cycle. The body is machined from metal for rigidity and includes a mounting hole in the frame for fixing the unit in place.
